Welcome!

Texas Bird Bingo is a collaboration between Texas Parks & Wildlife magazine and Audubon Texas. We’ve come together to encourage you to go outside and look for the more than 600 species of birds seen in Texas. We can’t highlight all of them (there are a lot of birds in Texas!), but we can help you get started by completing a Texas Bird Bingo card.

How to Play

Select a region of Texas below, or pick the whole state. From there, you’ll be able to download and print your own Texas Bird Bingo card. The front of the card features 24 birds you’re likely to see in your ecoregion; the back of the card has a helpful identification guide courtesy of Texas Audubon. When you see any bird pictured on your card, mark it with an X, a √ or whatever symbol you like. Once you've marked off a row of birds in any of three directions (horizontally, vertically or diagonally) you’ve got a bird bingo!

While viewing birds is rewarding, we’re also offering you a chance to go birding with a pro. Email a photo of your completed Texas Bird Bingo card to the email address noted on the card for a chance to win a birding excursion with a Texas Audubon master birder. One lucky winner will have a chance to tour a bird sanctuary island off the Texas Gulf Coast! Click here for more information.
