Rules & Regulations

Texas Bird Bingo dates: March 31, 2024 through November 30, 2024.  Participants who complete a Bird Bingo will be entered to win a birding excursion with a Texas Audubon master birder (30 winners); one grand prize winner (1) will win a tour of a bird sanctuary island off the Texas Gulf Coast. For a Bird Bingo card to be considered complete, participants must complete a bingo in accordance with the rules below. Participants who complete a “blackout” (all birds seen) on a regional card will receive five entries; a participant who completes a blackout on the All Texas card will receive 25 entries. Thirty-one winners (30 master birder excursions + one grand prize winner) will be chosen by random drawing after December 1, 2024. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible Bird Bingo entries received.

Applicable travel charges, taxes, fees, and surcharges on any prizes are the sole responsibility of the prizewinner(s).  

BIRD BINGO RULES

All entries must be completed as instructed on a Bird Bingo card, available in the May 2024 issue of Texas Parks & Wildlife magazine, on TexasBirdBingo.com, or as provided by a sponsor or a state park. All entries must be e-mailed to the address noted on the Bird Bingo card between April 1, 2024 and November 30, 2024 (11:59 PM CST). Alternatively, Bird Bingo cards can be mailed to Texas Parks & Wildlife magazine, 4200 Smith School Road, Austin, TX 78744.

ELIGIBILITY

Texas Bird Bingo is open to all participants regardless of residence, so long as the laws of their jurisdiction allow participation. If a prize is awarded, all travel expenses, lodging, taxes, fees, and surcharges on any prizes are the sole responsibility of the prizewinner.

TPW magazine is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected or incomplete entries or technical errors or difficulties. TPW magazine reserves the right to adjust the contest deadline if necessary. By entering, participants thereby RELEASE and HOLD HARMLESS TPW magazine, TPWD, its employees and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with Texas Bird Bingo or any prize won. Restrictions, conditions, and limitations apply.

Total prizes to be awarded limited to thirty (30) birding excursions at a Texas Audubon center led by a Texas Audubon master birder; one (1) guided tour of a bird sanctuary island off the Texas Gulf Coast. Total value of all prizes to be awarded is ±$8,000.
